Pedestrians Bang On Car, Assault Driver Through Window In Arlington: Cops

Two pedestrians have been arrested for assaulting a driver in Arlington this week, authorities said.

Leonardo Guardado Navarro, 29, and  Adonis Johnson, 20, are both facing charges.

Leonardo Guardado Navarro, 29, and  Adonis Johnson, 20, were on foot when they became involved in an argument with a driver on the 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, county police said.

Navarro and Johnson began banging on the victim’s vehicle, causing property damage, and assaulted him through the open driver’s side window, police said. 

The victim and one suspect suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention. 

Navarro was arrested and charged with Assault by Mob, Destruction of Property, Public Intoxication and Obstruction of Justice. Johnson was arrested and charged with Assault by Mob, Destruction of Property and Public Intoxication.
